REVLON ONE STEP HAIR DRYER AND VOLUMIZER | REVIEW
Here's a fact about me - I rarely ever do my hair. The most I do is quickly blow dry it every time I wash it, but I don't even attempt a blow-out or anything of the sort. Well, that has changed since I started using Revlon's Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer! Essentially, it's a hot air brush designed to brush, dry, and volumize your hair all in a single step.
I am incredibly uncoordinated when it comes to brushing and drying my hair at the same time. I find it quite difficult to hold the hair dryer in one hand and a round brush in the other (let's just say I did not enjoy cosmetology class in high school), so the One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer is a life saver. The oval brush makes it super easy for me to run the tool through my hair, helping to add volume at the root and then a bouncy, light curl at the end. It literally feels like having a salon blowout every time I dry my hair now.
Other key points:
- Boosted by Ionic Technology, so hair dries faster with less damage
- The brush/dryer is ceramic coated for even heat distribution
- There are three heat settings: high, medium, and cool
- It's super lightweight and ergonomic
- Tangle free swivel cord
I will say the only con I have with this hair dryer is that I don't feel quite comfortable using it alone as a hair dryer. Since I blow dry my hair straight out of the shower, it's still quite damp and I much prefer to blow dry my hair normally, then finish off with the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. I find I can't get the brush close enough to my scalp to dry the hair there, but once it's about 75% dry, this tool makes a world of difference!
The Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer was recently featured as a winner in the "Brush Dryer" category in Allure's 2019 best of Beauty Awards! It retails for $64.97 CAD and can be found at all major retailers - Walmart.ca, Amazon.ca, London Drugs & Bed Bath & Beyond.
Hope you enjoyed reading my review on this hair tool! I'm usually not a fan of having so many different hair tools but this one is a definite keeper!
xoxo,
Nancy

PHYTO PARIS | PHYTOJOBA LINE REVIEW
A couple weeks ago I was introduced to Phyto Paris at their 50th anniversary celebration, hosted at La Maquette in Downtown Toronto. I had never heard of Phyto Paris before, so attending this celebration was a great introduction to the brand, and I got to learn all about their history from 1969 up until now in 2019! Just as a brief summary, Phyto Paris has been one of the leading haircare brands in Europe. Over the 50 years they have been in business, they have released a huge range of products. Today I'm featuring their PHYTOJOBA line which I've been using for the past month.
The PHYTOJOBA line is a moisturizing hair care range that restores softness and shine to dry and dehydrated hair without weighing it down. There are three main ingredients in the PHYTOJOBA formulation; jojoba oil, jojoba milk, and mallow extraction. These all help to hydrate and condition the hair, maintaining strength while softening the hair fiber.
PHYTOJOBA MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO | $20 (250mL)
This is a pearly-tinted and shimmering shampoo that offers a fine and light mousse. I learned that PHYTO products are highly concentrated, and so I've literally been applying the smallest amount into the palm of my hands, and work it into a lather on my wet hair. It doesn't offer the same intense foam that drugstore shampoos tend to do, but by hair and scalp feel just as clean!
PHYTOJOBA MOISTURIZING MASK | $30 (150mL)
This is a rich, silky cream that instantly melts into the hair to hydrate it without weighing it down. What I love about this product is how little you need to use, which is great considering the price of one tube. I use a quarter size amount and apply it on the ends of my hair which helps to detangle it after shampooing. You can use this as a conditioner in the shower or a full-on hair mask if you plan on leaving it in for longer.
PHYTOJOBA MOISTURIZING GEL CARE | $30 (150mL)
One of Phyto Paris' newest products, this is a hair treatment designed to add shine and suppleness. I've been applying two pumps of this to my hair on wet and dry hair daily, and it just adds the most delicious scent to it. Since it's a gel formula, it doesn't feel heavy on my hair at all, and when combined with both the shampoo and conditioner, it's the perfect hair-care routine to ensure my hair stays healthy right down to the fiber.
I've been loving this simple, three step hair-care routine from Phyto Paris. Having just heard about the brand too, I was pleased to learn that in 2019, they have taken major steps to limit their environmental footprint. Their bottles are 100% recyclable and they have eliminated all paper instructions/boxes from their packaging. As small as this may seem, just these simple acts have the biggest impacts on the environment.
Overall, I'm very impressed by the products I've been using. I've been loving luxe, higher-end hair products lately because I personally think they have just done wonders for my hair. Yes, they are more expensive than your typical drugstore shampoos and conditioner, but the products don't contain any fillers and are concentrated with high quality ingredients so you don't have to use much.
Hope you all enjoyed this review and give Phyto Paris a try!

INTRODUCING THE INKEY LIST | NEW IN SKINCARE
If you're a skincare and beauty lover, you must have seen The Inkey List pop up all over social media over the past few weeks. Some have been comparing it to the ever popular, "The Ordinary" line, but it is so much more. I got to preview the brand's launch in Canada just a couple weeks ago and learned so much about the brand that I can't wait to share with you all today on the blog.
The Inkey List is a built on the belief that intelligent beauty should be accessible, simple, and straightforward. We're in this period where consumers (including myself) are demanding high quality products without the price tag. The other thing is that when it comes to skincare, it's not always easy to navigate and understand what's out there in today's cluttered skincare space. Basically at The Inkey List, you won't find confusing or exaggerated beauty marketing. You'll find transparent communication, straightforward packaging, and cutting-edge formulations made with premium ingredients.
There are three products from The Inkey List that I wanted to feature today; the Turmeric moisturizer, and the Collagen and Vitamin C serums. All three of these products have been incorporated into my skincare routine for specific reasons related to my skincare concerns.
TURMERIC ($12.99, 30ml) | This is a creamy moisturizer that has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric itself is known to be a superfood, and having not seen it in beauty products before, I was super interested in this product. I've been using on days when my skin feels more inflamed or looks red from those hormonal breakouts and I've been loving it!
VITAMIN C ($12.99, 30ml) | A skin concern of mine is targeting my uneven skin tone, especially around my nose and chin. Vitamin C brightens and protects the skin from environmental pollution. What I like about The Inkey List's Vitamin C serum is how it's super lightweight and absorbs instantly. It's one of the highest forms of Vitamin C on the market so you can be sure you're getting optimal results - just remember to wear sunscreen!
COLLAGEN ($10.99, 30ml) | The last skincare concern of mine is of course, anti-aging. Collagen is a natural protein found in cells that supports firmness and elasticity on the skin. It helps to prevent and firm sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles. This serum feels absolutely divine on my skin. It's feels like those solutions that sheet masks come soaked in which results in the serum soaking quickly into my skin and making it feel barely there.
Hope you enjoyed this intro to The Inkey List brand and a few of their products!

Nancy

DERMALOGICA SEBUM CLEARING MASQUE | REVIEW
A couple months ago I got a mini-facial at Sephora using Dermalogica products. One of the products used on my face was the Sebum Clearing Masque. I was instantly in love with it and couldn't wait to try it again at home.
WHAT IS IT?
It's a deep cleaning mask formulated with Kaolin and Bentonite clay. Other ingredients include cinnamon bark to eliminate bacteria and oat and licorice to sooth irritation. It absorbs excess oil (hence, "sebum clearing") and refines skin texture. Essentially, it is a powerful antioxidant face mask.
Clay masks are traditionally formulated for oily and acne-prone skin, and because of this, I personally don't think it would be suitable for sensitive skin. It has a very strong cooling effect which might be too strong for other skin types.
Since I have normal to oily skin, I absolutely love using this mask. To use it, I'll apply a smooth layer on my freshly cleansed face and leave it on for about ten minutes. Sometimes when I have a really bad breakout, I'll also use it as an overnight spot treatment. Since it can be somewhat drying, I always follow up with a sheet mask to bring that moisture back into my skin. The result is super smooth skin that feels refreshed and awake.
The Sebum Clearing Masque retails for $69 CAD and can be found at Sephora and the online Dermalogica store. I know $70 for 75mL of product may be on the higher end for a face mask, but realistically, you don't need to use very much of this mask, so it'll last you forever. I've never been disappointed with Dermalogica products and this is one that I absolutely love so I don't mind spending a little more money for a product that does wonders to my skin.
What Dermalogica products would you recommend to me to try? Let me know in the comments down below.

K-BEAUTY I LOVE | MIZON & COSRX PIMPLE PATCHES
Happy Monday friends! One thing you may not know about me is that when I first got into skincare and beauty, I was obsessed with K-Beauty products! For a good two to three years, most of my skincare was composed of Korean beauty products but I then made a shift to branching out to other brands. Sometimes I do find myself curious about K-Beauty products, and I'm usually never disappointed. Right now, I'm loving the Mizon Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Serum and the Cosrx Pimple Master Patches. I received these two products from Beauty Sphere, where you can find K-Beauty and other products for great prices!
Starting with Mizon, I've been going through moisturizing serums like crazy! I've moved onto the Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Serum and I LOVE it. Hyaluronic acid is an extremely popular ingredient due to its ability to add long-lasting hydration back into the skin. I love how lightweight and fast-absorbing this serum is, and it's so much more effective now too since it's so much colder in Toronto. I've been using this in the mornings and it reminds me of taking off a sheet mask and rubbing the serum that the mask comes soaked in.
My sister first introduced me to the Cosrx Pimple Master Patches and I've been obsessed with them ever since. These patches are essentially an overnight fixer to make whiteheads, blackheads, and picked zits disappear by morning. Each patch itself is a thin, clear hydrocolloid patch that sticks to your skin strongly. It treats breakouts by eliminating infection and bacteria. It's also able to break down and absorb gunk from your pimples so you won't experience a harsh, dry patch at all! I definitely want to do a more in-depth review on these patches because they are just that amazing. My favourite thing about using these patches is how my dark spots are significantly lighter than the pimples where I haven't used them.
If you're interested in these two products, I would definitely check out Beauty Sphere, since I know it can be difficult to find Korean skincare products sometimes. If you've tried any of these out, I'd love to know your thoughts!

Nancy

TRYING OUT RUDE COSMETICS | AFFORDABLE MAKEUP
It's a new year! Wake up, have your coffee, and finish off your makeup with some products from Rude Cosmetics. This line is new to me, but I was definitely intrigued when I learned the brand is super affordable and has a huge range of products with accompanying shades for you to choose from. A little back story: The tagline of Rude Cosmetics is "Makeup With An Attitude" which all of their products nod to, with shade names such as "Sinister Villain" and "Obscene Gesture". While their names are cheeky, their products are cruelty-free, making that an instant win in my books.
I tried out three products that I'm sharing in today's blog post: the Ultra High Definition Studio Finishing Mineral Powder, the Attitude Matte Lipstick, and the Notorious Liquid Lip Colour.
Ultra High Definition Studio Finishing Mineral Powder
It's definitely difficult to find HD powders at drugstore prices, but this powder is only $5! The powder itself is housed in an 8g container and comes with a puff. Since this is a mineral powder, it's very fine which is what you want when using it for HD photography or video. I haven't found much use for the puff, but I do love the finish of the powder when using it for baking. It brushes away so smoothly without disturbing my makeup underneath and doesn't leave any kind of white cast.
The Attitude Matte Lipstick retails for $2.50 and comes in 24 different shades. In the two shades I tried (Disobedient and Rowdy), both are very pigmented and have a waxy-feeling application but have a super matte finish. I love how the bullet is small and teardrop shaped, making it easy for precise application.
The third and final product I tried from Rude Cosmetics is their Notorious Liquid Lip Colour. Retailing for $3.50 each, these come in 20 different shades with 2.5mL of product. As with most liquid lipsticks, these have doe-foot applicators and have a very matte finish. The finish and application is more on the dry side and they have a powder-like finish. I've found that with some powder-like finish liquid lipsticks, they tend to pill after a few hours of wear but these fade naturally and evenly with no weird rim around the outside of the lips. The two colours featured in this blog post are Obscene Gesture and Sinister Villain.
Overall, if you're looking to try a cruelty-free and affordable makeup brand, I'd definitely recommend giving Rude Cosmetics a try. I haven't tried every product from their range however, I'd recommend the powder, lipsticks, and liquid lipsticks. If you're interested in trying the brand, you can find them on Beauty Sphere which is an online beauty retailer that sells a variety of beauty brands.

A HOLIDAY LOOK WITH CHARLOTTE TILBURY | HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FILTER, MAGIC CONCEALER, AND MORE!
I am so excited to bring this blog post to you readers today! Why am I excited you ask? Because the holiday blog posts have officially started, and I have a few posts planned that I can't wait to get out to you. Today we're beginning with some products that are perfect to add to your makeup for those holiday events and parties we're all gearing up to attend.
I have a few select products from Charlotte Tilbury, and as we know, Charlotte Tilbury is all about that glowy, effortless look and these products do just that. Today I'm featuring the Hollywood Flawless Filter, the Magic Away Liquid Concealer, Eyes to Mesermise Cream Eyeshadow, Bigger Brighter Eyes Palette, and K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick. There's lots of products to go through, so let's just get right into it.
HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FILTER | $50 CAD
This is a complexion booster that can be used alone or mixed in with your foundation. I use the shade no. 3 light/medium and have found that even on it's own, the coverage is pretty decent although for a a party look, you'd probably want to mix it in with a foundation. The concept behind this product is that it is literally a "filter" for your skin, containing nano-particles that help to blur imperfections while acting like an all-over highlighter for that luminous look. What I love about the Hollywood Flawless Filter is that you get that glow without looking oily. If anything, my skin just looks super smooth and radiant.
MAGIC AWAY LIQUID CONCEALER | $38 CAD
Even though Charlotte Tilbury is known for that radiant, glowing, almost natural beauty look, their products perform. The Magic Away Liquid Concealer is a full-coverage concealer that's perfect for makeup that you want to last all night long.
EYES TO MESMERISE | $36
These cream eyeshadows come in a range of shades however, I think the shade "Bette" is the perfect base for the palette that I'm using in conjunction with it. It's am amber-gold colour, and is super creamy and rich in colour. It blends out so easily and can be worn by itself to.
BIGGER BRIGHTER EYES | $66
I've featured this palette before on the blog but to recap, this palette in the shade "Exagger-Eyes" is just a stunner. The palette features four complimentary shadows: an ivory cream, rose gold, red-brown, and a transparent sparkle shade. The palette is great for every day but what makes it even better for the holidays is the sparkle shade that adds a pop to my eye look. The shadows blend out effortlessly and look even better with the Eyes to Mesmerise cream shadow base. This palette was limited edition but it's back just in time for the holiday season!
K.I.S.S.I.N.G. LIPSTICK | $39
And the perfect red to top everything off for the holidays - the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick in the shade, So Marilyn. This lipstick has a satin finish and contains a formula that's super moisturizing and doesn't bleed outside of your lipline. If you prefer, you could make it more matte with a powder too.
So that's my holiday look! What do you think? Are there any products you want to try from Charlotte Tilbury? There's just something about her products too that just feel so festive to me! Let me know down in the comments below.
Cheers!
Nancy
LIVE CLEAN PRODUCTS I LOVE | GIVEAWAY
By now you guys should know how much I love Live Clean products. I've been using their shampoos and conditioners from before I even started this blog and continue to use their products now.My favourite scent from their line is the Exotic Nectar Argan Oil scent, although they have a plethora of scents to choose from too.
Since it is officially fall now and the weather is getting colder, I wanted to share some of the Live Clean products I swear by for keeping moisturized. There is also a pretty awesome giveaway at the bottom of this post so make sure you read all the way through!
The very first products I used from Live Clean were their shampoos and conditioners. I'm also 99% sure the first scent I ever tried from them was the Argan Oil scent. Argan Oil has a rich concentration of Vitamin E and other antioxidants. I love this shampoo and conditioner duo because it smells amazing, makes my hair shiny and protects it from colouring and sun damage. The olive oil and grape seed oils it contains also help to regenerate and restructure my damaged ends.
Next up on the list of products I love from Live Clean are their hand soaps. They're really gentle all the while nourishing for my hands, and they seem to last forever too! In conjunction with the hand soaps, I like to use the Exotic Nectar Argan Oil Replenishing Body Lotion. It's very lightweight but feels hydrating and soaks into my skin very well, leaving no oily residue whatsoever.
Lastly I wanted to give a big shout out to Live Clean's Body Washes! I don't know how many bottles of body wash I have gone through, but these are definitely my go-to when it comes body washes. I've tried half of the scents from what's available but Argan Oil is definitely my favourite so far. They lather up really well and don't leave my skin with that weird film that I find some body washes do. I also love to add a squeeze of their body washes into my bath water for a bubble bath from time to time.
So there you have it! My favourite scent and products from Live Clean. Now that the weather is getting colder, it's even more important to moisturize and hydrate, and these products have the benefits of Argan Oil that will definitely help with that. Since it's so important, Live Clean and I would like to give a full set of their products to a lucky someone! You will win all of the products featured in this post in your scent of choice. Here are the details:
One winner will win all five products featured in this blog post.
They will choose one scent from the following: Exotic Nectar Argan Oil, Coconut Milk, or Fresh Water.

DERMALOGICA X SEPHORA | MY EXPERIENCE AT THE FACE BAR (PROSKIN 30)
I literally could not wait to write up this post! Earlier today I visited Sephora at the Yonge and Eglinton location to check out their Face Bar collaboration with Dermalogica. The Face Bar is Sephora's skin care service program that features their own complimentary facials and of course, two brand new Dermalogica services. The first treatment is the Face Fit Treatment ($10) which is essentially designed as a mini-treatment featuring their latest products. This service is 10 minutes long.
Today I was booked for their newest treatment - the ProSkin 30 ($30). This is a personalized, 30 minute treatment that addresses your top skin concerns. I was greeted by the Dermalogica Skin Therapist, Veronica, when I walked into the Face Bar. She was super friendly and got me to fill in a new client account. After this, we discussed my skin care routine and challenges/goals that I wanted to address. I told her that I am primarily concerned about acne scarring, preventing breakouts, and the overall health of my skin.

Veronica then began my skin care treatment! She started by using the PreCleanse Balm to dissolve my existing makeup. As a double cleansing step, she went in with the Essential Cleansing Solution to remove the balm and any extra residue. Once my skin was clean, she looked at it through a magnifying lens to assess the skin issues I had told her about before we began.
To address the blackheads on my nose, she applied the Exfoliant Accelerator 35 which is a professional product only available to spa and salon outlets. This basically softened up the area so that Veronica could extract my blackheads in a short amount of time. At the same time, she brushed the Sebum Clearing Masque all over my face to help clear and prevent any breakouts. I loved how the ProSkin 30 service incorporates products that Dermalogica sells to consumers with their professional line.
After washing off the masque and exfoliant, she misted my face with the Ultracalming Mist and moisturized with the Oil Free Matte SPF30 moisturizer. As a final step to address some breakouts I currently have, she applied the Breakout Clearing Booster to certain areas and I was good to go!
I'm not very well versed with facials and skin care treatments by a professional but I found the whole experience at the Sephora Face Bar a really good way to ease into professional treatments! Veronica was so attentive and even though I am quite comfortable with skin care, she was very knowledgable and gave me product recommendations, her expert advice, and some personalized tips and tricks. At the end of the service, I got my own little "Face Mapping Prescription" which had all of the products Veronica recommended to me as well as when to use each product.
I really enjoyed the ProSkin 30 service at the Face Bar. I know how expensive some skin treatments can be, but $30 every two to three weeks for 30 minutes is quite doable, considering you get personalized treatments and recommendations specific to your skin type and concerns. The Dermalogica Face Bar is currently available in Toronto at two Sephora locations - Sherway and Yonge & Eglinton. You can book a service online through Sephora in their stores and services section.
I hope you guys enjoyed this recap of my experience!

JOUVIANCE COCONUT | REVIEW
Long time no post! If you follow me on Instagram you'll know I've been really busy with my own business ventures so it's taken most of my time in addition to working a full 9-5 job. However, that doesn't mean I haven't been trying my fair share of beauty products!
I got a sample of the Jouviance Coconut Melting Balm about six months ago and have basically been applying it every day, especially since I've gotten myself slightly more tanned (or burnt?) over the summer. It's one of those products that only has five ingredients, is seriously hydrating, smells divine, and can be used as a multifunctional product for almost all of your skincare needs.
If you aren't already familiar with Jouviance, I wrote about their Contour+ a few months ago and it's one of my favourite products. All of their products don't contain any parabens, sulphates, phthalates, mineral oils, colours, or artificial fragrances. In short, their products are unlikely to irritate your skin and actually work.
The Coconut Melting Balm has been my go-to every night after the shower, and as mentioned above, it's made from only Coconut Oil and Hyaluronic Acid. We all know how amazing coconut oil is for the skin, so this product basically has all of the benefits of the oil itself PLUS the benefits of hyaluronic acid. In addition to its hydration factor, coconut oil has a whole set of other great properties. Firstly, it's an anti-inflammatory due to the high concentration of fatty acids. Coconut oil doesn't just sit on the skin, but it soaks in deep to the skin to improve the hydrolipid balance. It's a great makeup remover, and it's also anti-microbial, making it highly beneficial for those who have cases of dermatitis and psoriasis.
In addition to all of its great benefits, the Jouviance Coconut Melting Balm can be used a variety of ways. These are the ways I like to use it:
- Body Moisturizer. Since the main ingredient in this balm is coconut oil, it melts super easily and a little goes a long way. I love applying it before I go to bed right after I get out of the shower and my skin feels so smooth the next morning.
- Hair Conditioner. I have dyed and bleached ends, so my hair is dry and brittle. There's two ways I like to use this balm for my hair. Firstly, I'll either use it as a hair mask when I'm taking a bath, or as a smoothing oil when my hair feels a little frizzy.
- Overnight mask. Coconut oil will not clog your pores, so on some nights I'll put on a thick layer before bed and I'll wake up to the freshest face ever.
In addition to the ways I like to use the Coconut Melting Balm, you can also use it as a lip mask, hair serum, belly balm, and baby butter! It's perfect when you want a simple routine, or for travel when you don't want to pack too many products. You can find the Jouviance Coconut Melting Balm on their website as well as Shoppers Drug Mart.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this super lengthy post, but I really do love the Coconut Melting Balm, and I really wanted to share my opinion on it with all of you!
Until next time,
Nancy

INDEFENSE30 FROM INDEED LABORATORIES | REVIEW
I honestly can't believe it's already September! I have had the busiest summer ever, and I've been trying out so many new and exciting products, but I haven't gotten the chance to sit down and write about them. Seeing as how I've managed to sneak some free time into my hectic schedule, I thought I'd kick things off for the month with a review on a product I've been using all summer.
InDefense30 is a moisturizer and sunscreen from Indeed Laboratories that I've been using since July. It's a lightweight moisturizer and partial mineral-based sunscreen with SPF 30. The formula absorbs easily into my skin and provides the perfect amount of hydration I want for the daytime. I'm usually weary of moisturizers that contain SPF because in my experience, they tend to be on the greasier side however, the InDefense30 glides on really well and doesn't leave any streaky marks on my skin.
Here are some of the key ingredients:
Pycnogenol: An antioxidant that is shown to be 50 times more powerful than vitamin E. It slows the skin's aging process and protects from harmful environmental elements.
Hydrovition Plus: This delivers intense hydration and works with the skin's natural moisture.
Zinc Oxide: A mineral that acts as a sunscreen, protecting the skin against UVA and UVB light rays. It also helps to heal the skin from pigmentation.
I hope everyone had a great long weekend!

JĀSÖN DRY SPRAY DEODORANTS | REVIEW & GIVEAWAY
Happy Friday friends!
Today I have an exciting giveaway and review to share with all of you! Over the past few weeks I've been trying out the Dry Spray Deodorants from JĀSÖN. Founded in California is 1959, JĀSÖN believes in personal care products that don't contain harsh chemicals. Their products range from haircare, hand soaps, body washes, lotions, toothpaste, mouthwash, and of course, deodorants! Best of all, they are certified with the Leaping Bunny logo, meaning they are totally cruelty-free.
In addition to their stick deodorants, JĀSÖN has released two different scents in dry spray format. The two scents are Fresh Cucumber and Soft Rose, and are clinically tested to provide 24-hour protection. The Dry Spray Deodorants go on dry with no wet feeling and are housed in containers that are air-propelled, using no chemical propellants.
Let's start with the packaging. One container of the Dry Spray Deodorant holds 113mL of product. I've never used a spray deodorant before so I didn't know what to expect, but the JĀSÖN Dry Spray Deodorants have a light spray nozzle that feels like a mist. Both deodorants are lightly scented, although when the product first comes out, there is a hint of alcohol which fades after a few minutes. The deodorant doesn't feel wet or sticky, and it's clear, so there's no worry about getting it on your clothes.
My favourite scent of the two is the Soft Rose. Another plus to the deodorants is that they don't contain any artificial fragrance, so you can be sure you're smelling real roses and cucumber! They also don't contain any aluminium, butane, parabens, and phthlates.
Overall, I really like the JĀSÖN Dry Spray Deodorants. I am typically picky when it comes to natural deodorants because they don't last as long as they claim to. These deodorants keep their scent for a few hours on my body, but even once the scent fades, I don't notice any odour which is a true testament to their claim of 24 hour odour protection.
You can find JĀSÖN Dry Spray Deodorants for $14.99 at Whole Foods, Loblaws, Well.ca and other natural grocers.
And now it's time for the giveaway! JĀSÖN is offering one lucky person a chance to win two spray deodorants (Soft Rose and Fresh Cucumber). Here are the requirements to enter:

NEW IN | LIVE CLEAN FOAMING HAND WASHES | REVIEW
You guys know how much I rave about Live Clean on this blog and social media. I've been using their hand soaps for years, so I was super excited to see that they have recently released some Foaming Hand Washes to their range, available in three different scents, Lemon Mint, Vanilla Bean & Coconut, and White Tea & Cherry (not pictured). They retail for $4.99 CAD and are housed in 400mL bottles.
I love foaming hand soaps because they are so light and airy, but they also form a rich and creamy lather that cleanses so perfectly! I've been keeping one in my kitchen and it's been so nice to reach for something that not only smells great (the Vanilla Bean & Coconut is my favourite), but also cleans off grease (and cheesy popcorn fingers!) without drying out my hands. The Live Clean Foaming Hand Washes are enriched with Vitamin E and organic Aloe Vera which is probably why my hands feel nicely moisturized after using the soap.
As always, Live Clean keeps their products natural and eco-friendly, which is another reason to love the brand. Their products are made with 98% plant based ingredients, pure vegan, never tested on animals, paraben-free, and the packaging is completely recyclable, just to name a few pluses about the brand.
You can find Live Clean Foaming Hand Washes at Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Walmart, Amazon.ca, and Well.ca.
Overall, I love these foaming hand washes. They're absolutely a pleasure to use and the price is super affordable for a natural and eco-friendly product. I gifted one of these to Beni's parents and they've been loving it as well!
Until next time,
- Nancy

THE PRETTIEST ROSE GOLD MAKEUP BRUSHES | FANCII ARIA PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP BRUSH REVIEW
Today's post is about the prettiest rose gold makeup brushes from Fancii. The set I'm featuring in this post is the Aria Professional Makeup Brush Collection. This set features 11 brushes handcrafted for precise application and blending of liquid, cream and powder products, ranging from eye to face brushes.
My favourite design aspect of the Aria Professional Makeup Brush Collection is how the brushes are made with rose gold ferrules and matte black handles that have been designed to provide maximum comfort for your hands. All eleven brushes are housed in a vegan leather roll clutch, making them ideal for travel, because they roll up very neatly. I love how the brushes are made with high quality synthetic fibres which makes them cruelty-free, antibacterial and nonporous.
The Aria Professional Makeup Brush Collection includes:
1. Big Powder Brush
2. Flat Foundation Brush
3. Sculpting Foundation Brush
4. Angled Contour Brush
5. Blush Brush
6. Blending Brush
7. Smudge Brush
8. Concealer Brush
9. All-over Eyeshadow Brush
10. Angled Eye Brush
11. Lip Brush
I've been meaning to replace/add to my makeup brushes for quite some time and thought these gorgeous brushes from Fancii would be the perfect addition. As I've featured Fancii tools before, you know how affordable their products are, and this brush set is no exception. It retails for $25.99, which is a steal if you're looking for great quality brushes on a budget.
My favourite brushes are the Big Powder Brush, the Flat Foundation Brush, the Smudge Brush, and the All-over Eyeshadow Brush. These are the brushes I've been reaching for the most, and I've really been enjoying how they've been working for me in my every day makeup routine.
In terms of washing and drying, the Aria brushes wash very easily, and I actually kept the silicone sleeves the larger brushes came with which makes a great holder for drying. They keep their shape and I haven't experienced any fallout from the brushes so overall I'm very impressed with this brush set.
I know Prime Day is coming up on Amazon, so if you're on the hunt for some new makeup brushes, I highly recommend the Aria Professional Makeup Brush Collection! You can purchase them on Amazon or on the Fancii website.
See you in the next blog post!
