ABOUT

WHO IS NANCY MAC?
A writer, designer, blogger, small-business owner? In a general sense, I like to call myself a creator. Originally from Calgary AB, then packed my bags and moved across the country to Toronto, ON where I got my Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design from Ryerson University.

I've had a blog, or several blogs for over a decade, but in 2015, I relocated to this website and have called it my permanent online home since. Within the past four years, I've been able to attend brand launches, test and photograph hundreds of the latest beauty products, and put my reviews out there for everyone to read.

In late 2018 I opened Freon Collective, a small-batch manufacturing and production company focused on sewing and design. I've been able to work with some of the most wonderful local business in and around Toronto and in 2019, combined my love of sewing and beauty into an in-house brand for Freon Collective. After realizing the amount of waste the beauty industry (and a lot of others) is contributing to our planet, I decided to launch our reusable 100% organic cotton rounds and have been steadily growing our product offering since.

The past few years have brought so many amazing moments to my life. I've been able to participate in the Canadian Beauty Bloggers Network, been featured on Narcity and CBC, and have formed bonds with some of the most inspiring bloggers and content creators in real life and online. As you read through my posts and see the content I create, I hope to inspire you in the same way!
