Nip+Fab's Dragon's Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot ($24.95) is one of their new product launches aimed to hydrate the skin. Just in time for the winter, when my skin definitely needs the hydration. Admittedly, I was first confused over the term, "Dragon's Blood", but don't worry! The Dragons's Blood line doesn't contain actual blood (if we lived in the world of Harry Potter this would definitely be a thing). Dragons Blood is actually a sap found is Croton Lechleri trees that works to protect and heal the skin from all outside aggressions. The product also contains a Hyaluronic Solution that acts to plump up the skin while allowing it to retain moisture.

This concentrate works to deeply hydrate dry and thirsty skin for a moisture locked and plumper finish. The Dragons Blood acts as a 'second skin' to protect the skin from environmental damage. It also works to motivate skin cell regeneration as well as reduce inflammation and redness. Hyaluronic acid is a solution that is able to trap water and hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water to maintain skin plumpness. Due to its super-hydrating properties, it is perfect for reducing wrinkles as well as softening and smoothing the skin for a younger-looking complexion.

The Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot comes housed in a 30mL glass bottle with a dropper for easy application. This formula was created to be used on its own as an overnight serum, or for blending in with a daily moisturizer. There is a light, floral fragrance attached to the serum, and although sensitive skin users may find it too invasive, I think the scent is quite nice so it doesn't bother me.

The texture of the concentrate reminds me of ampoule or a serum, and it has a slightly sticky, gel-like consistency. Although this product is marketed as a "booster" to mix with your moisturizer, I've found that I actually prefer to use it alone as a serum underneath my moisturizer. The reason being is because taking an extra step to mix the two together when they are both going to be applied to be face is a little messy, not to mention slightly inconvenient. Although, when I have mixed it together with several of my daily moisturizers, I've found that application is the same and it gives me great pleasure to know that the Dragon's Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot is boosting the hydration effects of my moisturizers and keeping moisture locked into my skin. Because it is so lightweight, I can use it at night and in the morning to reap the full antioxidant and hydration benefits.

Overall, I've been loving the Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot and have made it a regular staple in my skincare routine. As with the new trend of adding boosters into your drinks or food, I think the recent addition of skincare boosters is a beneficial step that you should definitely try if you haven't yet!

Hope you guys give the Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot a try!
