BITE BEAUTY LIQUIFIED LIPSTICKS | SWATCHES & REVIEW

New in from Bite Beauty, we have the Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks. For those of us familiar with Bite Beauty, these new products are the liquid form of their originals, the Amuse Bouche lipsticks. Thanks to Influenster Canada, I received three shades from the line to test out, although there are 12 different shades to choose from. Each lipstick retails for $28.00 CAD, two dollars less than their regular Amuse Bouche lipsticks.

The three shades I received were: Demi-Glace (a chocolate mauve), Eclair (a soft rose), and Flambe (a vivid poppy). These liquid lipsticks apply with a doe-foot wand, which provides super precise application. The colour itself is incredibly pigmented, so you really only need to dip the wand in once. The formula is also creamy, with a lovely satin/glossy finish on the lips.

Unfortunately, I do have to say that while I absolutely love liquid lipsticks, I just can't seem to get on board with these. I am just not a fan of liquid lipsticks that have a glossy or satin finish, because I feel like they'll smear and never fully "sink in" to my lips.

That being said, these liquid lipsticks will slightly stain your lips, making them last longer throughout the day. If you do want the glossy sheen though, you will need to reapply.

Overall though, the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks are very well done. Cheers to Bite Beauty for expanding their line with a product that's all the rage these days. I do hope one day they'll release some matte liquid lipsticks! If you are a fan/don't care about glossy/satin finishes though, I have a feeling you will probably really like this range.

You can purchase Bite Beauty at Sephora or online.

Have you tried the Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks? What did you think of them?

xoxo,
Nancy
