THE LIP PENCIL BY BITE BEAUTY | NEW LAUNCHES

New in from Bite Beauty is The Lip Pencil. Available in 22 neutral shades inspired by natural lip tones, these are the latest release in the Bite Beauty collection. I have tried my fair share of Bite Beauty products, and I can testify that they are one of the most esteemed brands when it comes to lip products. Complimentary from Influenster, I got to try out two of their new Lip Pencils and two of their matching Amuse Bouche Lipsticks, and wanted to share this exciting new product release with all of you!

The Bite Beauty Lip Pencil has been three years in the making as the Bite experts wanted to create a revolutionary formula for this new addition to the brand. These lip pencils claim to have a super creamy coverage, stop feathering, and prevent smudging. Keep on reading down below to see my thoughts on these new lippies (spoiler alert, Bite Beauty never fails to impress).

I feel like since Bite Beauty has been developing lipsticks for so long, they were bound to release lip pencils to use with their products. I love that I got to try out a nude-y lighter shade, and the darkest of dark shades to really cover the whole spectrum of shades that Bite Beauty offers. The Lip Pencils are a standard length, with 1.4g of product - plenty to line and fill your lips. They are not automatically sharpened, so you will have to sharpen them by hand once they get dull. As with all Bite Beauty products, the product is housed in their trademark carbon grey packaging which is super sleek, but a nice improvement is that these liners have a colour swatch on the packaging so you know which lip colour you are picking out without having to read the label.

Like all of their products, the colour selection is insane, and there is definitely something for everyone. Application for both the lipsticks and lip pencils is super smooth, and they glide onto the lips with no tugging at all. The formula is silicone free and made with whipped shea butter for that weightless feeling. I love the Amuse Bouche lipstick in Honeycomb with the 020 Lip Pencil because the two tones are so similar. Ditto for Whiskey with the 044 lip pencil. Honeycomb and 020 are light pink-nudes with a warm undertone, which works so well for my skin tone (perhaps I've found my favourite nude lippie?). Whiskey and 044 are the complete opposite as they are a super rich and deep mahogany-brown, but I love dark lip colours, so these shades get an "A+" in my books too.

These Bite Beauty Lip Pencils only help to enhance the lasting power of their existing products currently offered. I work essentially a 9 to 5 job, drink several cups of tea throughout the day as well as eat lunch, and my lip colour stays untouched for at least seven hours. I've raved on and on about Bite Beauty products, their lasting power, their shade selection, and their ethical practices in previous posts, but all I can really say is that I am so excited for this new addition to the Bite Beauty family!

The Lip Pencil is currently available on Sephora.com. Are you guys excited for the new Lip Pencils from Bite Beauty? Which shades are you looking forward to try?

xoxo,
Nancy
