Hey bebs! These Wet N Wild liquid lipsticks were trending a couple months ago when they first launched, but I'm not late on the bandwagon - I'm simply just late... I took these photos after a press event for the launch and I've been using them since, but only now am I going back to talk about these, because they really are a gem.

The Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks ($6.99 CAD) are by far the most affordable drugstore liquid lipsticks on the market. They're also vegan, fragrance free, and cruelty-free! The shade range contains 13 different shades, ranging from nudes to pinks and more vampy colours.

Upon application, the doe foot applicator makes it easy to swipe the product across your lips. The Catsuit Lipstick glides on smoothly, and I found that I only needed what was on the applicator (one swipe) to cover my top and bottom lip. I had a lighter to darker shade range to test out, and all three of these were very opaque.

In terms of wear time, these liquid lipsticks will last a fair amount of time on your lips. They're also smudge-proof which is evident from how they dry. If you're not a fan of matte liquid lipsticks because they feel "dry", then you probably won't like these. However, I personally like that about them because then I know that the colour will actually stay on my lips.

From left to right, the colours swatched are: Oh My Dolly, Coral Corruption, and Pink Really Hard. Coral Corruption is my favourite shade of the trio. They're available at select drugstore retailers, and on wetandwildbeauty.com if you'd like to check them out!

  1. The swatches look so pretty! Definitely a fan of oh my dolly and coral corruption! I don't use liquid lipsticks a lot but they're good to have on hand for long days when you don't think you'll have many chances to reapply regular lipstick!

    1. Thanks for reading! I totally agree - I don't like to reapply lipstick so liquid lipsticks are always my go-to.
