JUMPING ON THE REAL TECHNIQUES BANDWAGON

Real Techniques brushes... finally. For years I've watched British Youtubers use Real Techniques brushes and for years I have wanted to get them, but a few factors made it more difficult for me to purchase them in Canada. But the point is, I now have a core collection set, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

The core collection includes the following:

  • Detailer Brush
  • Pointed Foundation Brush
  • Buffing Brush
  • Contour Brush
  • A 2-in-1 Case and Stand
So far, my favourite brushes would have to be the buffing and contour brush. I use the buffing brush to blend in my BB cream and liquid concealer and the contour brush to apply my bronzer. Let me just say, these are a step up from the old brushes I was using before. As great at they were, I've had them for years, so the brush hairs were falling out, the handles were becoming loose, and overall, I just needed to replace them.

The Real Techniques brushes are so nice and dense, which makes make-up application ten times faster and easier. The handle seems sturdy and is really nice to hold, and the brush hairs are soft and made from 100% synthetic materials so they are completely cruelty free :) You can check out the collection here, as well as browse through their other brush sets.

Have you tried Real Techniques brushes? What did you think of them?

Cheers,
Nancy

P.S. Now I have to get my hands on more Real Techniques brushes...
