A WEEKEND AT TERRE BLEU LAVENDER FARM

If you're from Toronto and you've been on Instagram a lot this summer, you will have noticed an adorable little Lavender farm pop up on people's feeds and stories. Terre Bleu farm is located just an hour out of Toronto in Milton, and it's the perfect little day trip getaway for those who don't want to go too far, but still want to get out of the city.

Beni and I drove up to the farm early Sunday morning, and there was already a lineup of cars outside waiting for the farm to open so we could enter. Given it was the last weekend before they harvested all of their lavender, I'm glad we went early before it got busy. We got to walk along the rows of lavender, take all of our "Instagrammble" shots, and even explore the woods which we had pretty much to ourselves.

Terre Bleu has three main branches of their business: Lavender farming, honey production, and equestrian sports. We were able to see their honey distillation building, their equestrian field, and of course, see the different types of lavender they grow. I have a huge bug phobia, and there was bees EVERYWHERE, but they were so pre-occupied with the lavender blossoms and their honey combs that they barely paid any attention to us.

One of the things I was most excited to try at Terre Bleu was their lavender ice cream. It was so refreshing and delicious, with just the slightest hint of lavender so it wasn't overpowering at all. We took our cones over to some little chairs that were scattered around the farm and enjoyed our treats with an epic view of all of the blossoms.

Overall, I had so much fun at Terre Bleu Farm. It was such a fun experience, and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, wandering across the field. Although the season is now over, they are still open for visitors. If you didn't get a chance to go this summer, I highly recommend taking a trip out to the farm next summer for a little adventure!

Did any else visit Terre Bleu this summer? What did you think? Let me know in the comments down below.
